First Limited Edition of 100 for the United States, this copy is #49. Bound in full red leather with gilt lettering, five raised bands on spine. Edges rubbed, cover a little rubbed. Front upper and lower spne cracked. Marbled end papers, paste-downs are gilt framed. Twenty-four plates plus colored frontispiece. Tissue guard protecting frontispiece has been tape-repaired. Minor foxing on some pages. 200 pages. A nice clean, tight copy.
